Willamette Falls Food Hub

Features include residential and retail spaces housed in prototype CLT construction, and an adjacent market and sustainable agriculture research in an adaptive reuse of several connected mill buildings. The project aims to connect the history of the site with its future by planting the initial “seed” of residential and economic activity from which a prosperous district can grow. The district urban design will shape a promenade framing vibrant public and semi-public spaces. The architecture will support community-building efforts with a unique residential experience of a“vertical street” within an exciting building form that will galvanize public support.
